A Suffolk man has been indicted on charges related to a fatal shooting on Feb. 26.

Marquay Antonio White, 24, was one of 53 defendants indicted on 101 charges by the grand jury on May 28.

White is charged in connection with the shooting at the Happy Shopper in the 600 block of East Washington Street. Leondrae Shaqil Johnson, 25, died from his injuries.

Antonio Lamon Jefferson, also charged in the incident, was also hospitalized.

White’s additional charges were previously reported on May 31. He is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and shoot, stab, cut or wound.

White’s arraignment in Suffolk Circuit Court is set for June 14.

Jefferson awaits his next court date on July 22 in General District Court.
