Ronnie Lee Epps Sr., of Suffolk, transitioned into glory on June 11, 2019. He was born in Portsmouth to the late Zulia Vaughan and Walter Epps.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served in the Vietnam War.

He was a devoted member of Antioch United Church of Christ.

“Ron” worked at Smithfield Packing Co. and later Suffolk Iron Works until his health began to fail.
He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter Linda Jackson (Matthew), and sons, Ronnie Epps Jr. (Kristel), Domenick Epps (Lakita) and Frankie Epps; siblings, Richard Edwards, Lucy Vaughan, Diane Epps (Ronnie), Tyrone Davis, Jacquline Flowers, Darlene Simpson and Darryl Mabrey; 15 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at noon Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Antioch UCC.
