Dontoris Jonte Parker, 33, passed away on June 16, 2019.

Dontoris was preceded in death by his daughter, Sare’ Parker. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Za’Mauri Parker, Za’Kyla Parker and Delia Parker; sons Kyren Parker and Kasan Parker; parents Daisy Jones (Marvin) and Alvin Parker (Martha); brothers Keonti Futrell (Alanta), Dwayne Johnson, James Scott (Tyesha), Devin Parker, Maurice Jones (Natasha); and a sister DeZaray Parker (Tyrone). He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Many close friends have many great memories to hold on to. He also leaves behind someone who was like a father to him, Mike Futrell.

Dontoris loved his friends and family. He loved to cook on the grill. DJ will be remembered as a deeply loyal friend who loved his children with all of his heart. DJ will truly be missed.

Viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday June 24, 2019, at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1248 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. The life celebration service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the funeral home. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.jtffs.com.
