Thomas Bullock Jr.

Thomas Bullock Jr., 93, of South Capital Street, Suffolk, transitioned June 27, 2019. He was the son of the late Fannie Beamon Bullock and Thomas Bullock Sr. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Mae Bullock, and son, Larry T. Bullock.
He was a graduate of East Suffolk High School. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard in 1976 after 24 years of faithful and dedicated services as a supervisor. He also served in the U.S. Navy. He was a former member of St. Timothy Church, where he sang in the No. 2 choir and was a trustee. He joined Mount Ararat Christian Church in 2012.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Jacquelyn Bullock and Wilma Bullock; three sons, McKinsey Bullock (Linda), Michael Bullock (Sheila) and Bernard Bullock; sisters, Elaine Watson (Junious), of Portsmouth; brother, Daniel Bullock Sr. (Gloria); 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, at Mt. Ararat Christian Church, 1860 Airport Road. The Rev. Dr. H.H. Murrill will deliver the message of comfort. He will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
