Suffolk Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Saturday morning.

The stabbing happened in the 6800 block of Elwood Road, according to a city press release. It was reported at 11:53 a.m.

Suffolk Police responded and found two adult males that had reportedly been involved in a physical fight that escalated to a stabbing, according to the press release.

Both men suffered injuries that were considered non-life-threatening. Both were transported to area hospitals after treatment by Suffolk Fire & Rescue and Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department.

The incident remains under investigation, according to the press release.
