The King’s Fork High School football team will host a mattress sale Aug. 3.
Those looking to purchase a new mattress will have an opportunity to do so next month at King’s Fork. The football team will have a mattress fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 3. There will be brand new, name-brand mattresses available to be purchased with prices that will vary. Prices start at $199 for a twin gel memory foam mattress that includes a mattress protector.
The school’s cafeteria will convert into a mattress showroom during the one-day-only sale with 27 brand-name styles, including Simmons Beautyrest, Tranquility and Malouf, along with Symbol mattresses, which are manufactured in Richmond. The competitively-priced mattresses are made to order and have full factory warranties. All sizes are available, and local white glove delivery is included for mattresses $400 or more.
The fundraiser is to help each Bulldog player make their gear more affordable for the season. To give back even more to the community, school teachers, police and fire personnel, EMTs, nurses, military and veterans all receive a hero coupon for $100 off any mattress more than $300.
The goal is for the Bulldogs to sell 50 mattresses. Coach Kermit Buggs and the Bulldogs are excited about the event and what it can do for the program for this upcoming season.
Adjustable bases, pillows and sheets will also be sold the day of the event. For more information, visit bit.ly/beds4kingsfork or call 944-1579.
