Derek Lamar Bennett, 28, of Sparrow Road, Suffolk, transitioned Tuesday, July 23, 2019. A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5921 Harbour View Blvd., Suffolk. He will be laid to rest in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
