Virginians can shop ‘til they drop — tax-free — this weekend for school supplies, clothing, hurricane and emergency preparedness items and Energy Star and WaterSense products.

The sales tax holiday runs Friday through Sunday and includes a number of qualifying items that anyone can purchase without paying the state sales tax.

Chainsaws with sales price of $350 or less and chainsaw accessories with sales price of $60 or less. Chainsaw accessories include:
