The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a subject seen tampering with vehicles.
A home surveillance video camera caught an image of the subject in the Woodlake Terrace neighborhood about 4 a.m. Wednesday, according to a city press release.
Police have not received any reports of thefts from vehicles in this area.
“Suffolk Police would like to remind citizens to ‘Lock It, Don’t Lose It,’ as these few seconds not only helps you and your family avoid becoming a victim of crime, but also helps the entire neighborhood,” the release stated.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Tipsters can also submit tips by going to www.p3tips.com or by visiting the Suffolk Police Department website at www.suffolkva.us/spd and looking for the Suffolk Crime Line link.
