Police investigate armed robbery at Pizza Hut

Suffolk Police are investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at a Pizza Hut on Saturday night, according to a city press release.
The incident reportedly occurred at 11:30 p.m. Saturday evening at the Pizza Hut in the 3500 block of Bridge Road. The preliminary investigation determined that a black male armed with a handgun entered the business and demanded money.
The subject fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money. There were no reported injuries, according to the press release.
The subject was described as approximately 6 feet tall and wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black boots and a black face mask.
No surveillance video photos are available, according to the press release, and the investigation remains ongoing.
