Suffolk Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that happened late Monday, according to a city press release.

The accident was reported at 10:26 p.m. in the 500 block of Kilby Shores Drive in the Kilby Shores neighborhood, according to the press release. The driver, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim’s name is being withheld following notification of next of kin.

The roadway is expected to remain closed for an extended period of time as the investigation continues.
