Daniel Bullock Sr., 85, of Florida Avenue, Suffolk, transitioned Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at Sentara Nursing Center Chesapeake. He was the son of the late Fannie Bullock and Thomas Bullock Sr. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Essie Smith and Elmira Jones; brother, Thomas Bullock Jr.

He was a graduate of East Suffolk High School. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a pipefitter after numerous years of faithful and dedicated service. He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk, where he was a member of the Mass and Male Choir. Daniel was also a member of the Hollywood/Jericho Civic League.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gloria D. Bullock, of Suffolk; daughter, Sybil D. Bullock; son, Daniel Bullock Jr.; stepdaughter, Kina Davis; stepson, Darryl Davis (Shirley); sister, Elaine Watson (Junius); two grandchildren, Maegan Young and Darius Bullock; sister-in-law, Iris Paige (Richard).

A celebration of life will be held at noon, Friday, Aug. 23, 2019, at First Baptist Church Mahan, 112 Mahan St., Suffolk. He will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive guests at 2224 Florida Ave., Suffolk. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
