Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night in the 6000 block of Brookwood Drive.

According to the city press release, police had initially responded to an area hospital in reference to two adult male victims with gunshot wounds who had been transported to the facility by private vehicle.

One victim had life threatening injuries and the other had injuries that were considered non-life threatening, according to the press release.

Further investigation led to the location of the crime scene in the 6000 block of Brookwood Drive. The incident remains under investigation.
