The King’s Fork High School field hockey team fell 8-1 to Hickory High School.
The Lady Bulldogs took on a tough Hickory team on the road Wednesday evening. Hickory took the win, but King’s Fork has been the only team to score on Hickory this season.
“Hickory is an experienced bunch,” Coach Kayla Jones said. “I told the girls that the score didn’t define our team. We are very young, and we know that playing these tough teams in the beginning are only going to make us better. We’re getting better everyday and learning from our mistakes.”
Faith Conchran scored King’s Fork’s only goal with an assist from Brielle Little.
