With a win over Lakeland High School on the road Wednesday evening, the Lady Warriors took the 2019 city title.

The Nansemond River High School field hockey team took a 1-0 win. It was the team’s second win over a rival, having gotten a win over King’s Fork High School when the season opened. Both wins for Nansemond River come by way of shutouts, having outscored King’s Fork and Lakeland by a total of 7-0.
