There were no injuries in a crash on Route 58 Wednesday morning.

The six-vehicle crash was reported at 7:28 a.m., according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink. It happened on Route 58 eastbound near the Godwin Boulevard interchange.

Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded and found that the chain-reaction crash involved no injuries, and nobody was transported from the scene, Klink stated.

Eastbound lanes were initially closed, then one lane reopened at 7:35 a.m. All lanes reopened at 8:17 a.m.
