Robbery investigated

Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday morning at a North Main Street gas station.
The robbery happened at 8:24 a.m. at Murphy USA in the 1200 block of North Main Street, a city press release stated.
Preliminary investigation found that a black male dressed in dark clothing, a ball cap and sunglasses displayed a firearm and demanded money, the press release stated. He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of currency.
There were no injuries, and the investigation remains ongoing.
