Teen injured in shooting

A teenager was injured in a shooting in the Southside Meadows neighborhood on Monday night.
The shooting was reported at 8:22 p.m. in the 100 block of Greenfield Crescent, according to a city press release. Officers found a shooting had taken place and the 16-year-old male had been dropped off at a hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time, the press release stated.
