The Suffolk Lady Cougars are gearing up for their third successful year of AAU girls basketball and will be holding tryouts soon.

Suffolk’s only nonprofit all-girls organization is looking for talented players to fill their rosters. The organization has players from grades 3-10.

The first group of girls to be looked at for possible team placement will be the third- and fourth-grade ballers. All prospective players are to show up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Salvation Army, 400 Bank St. Check-in begins at 11 a.m.
