The Nansemond River High School boys’ volleyball team earned a road win over Hickory High School Thursday evening.

The Warriors battled it out with Hickory in five sets Thursday night for a strong win. Nansemond River took a 3-2 win, with every set coming down to the wire.

Benjamin Wiechert had 11 kills, and Amahri McClain had seven kills. Jacob Prosper added 24 digs.

Nansemond River will look to add to their win streak with their second matchup with Oscar Smith High School Tuesday evening.
