A man was taken to the hospital Sunday evening with potentially life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash.

The crash happened in the 1700 block of Carolina Road at 8:04 p.m., according to a city press release. The adult male driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and was taken to an area hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

The roadway was closed for about one hour. The crash remains under investigation.
