The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy volleyball team came in at No. 1 in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association weekly polls.

For the third straight week, the Lady Saints were on top in the VISAA Division II poll. NSA totaled 139 votes, which was two more then the second-place team, Trinity Christian School. The Lady Saints are currently 17-5 on the year.

NSA will hold senior night Thursday night against Cape Henry Collegiate at 6:30 p.m.
