Suffolk native scores hat trick

Former King’s Fork High School standout Alexis Jones notched a hat trick for Sweet Briar College over the weekend.
Jones has started off her junior season well. Over the weekend against Wells College, she had a hat trick for the Vixens, scoring three goals with five shots on goal. The hat trick was the first for a Sweet Briar player in the last decade.
She has started in all 11 games for Sweet Briar this season and has started more than 20 games in two seasons. She leads the team in goals currently with six and in accumulated points with 13.
During her time at King’s Fork, she was an All-Conference selection at midfield.
