Player of the Week nominees

Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:
- X’zavion Evans, senior, Nansemond River High School football: Evans rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns in the Warriors’ win over Grassfield High School.
- Giancarlo Cecchini, senior, King’s Fork High School volleyball: Cecchini had six kills and 11 assists with three aces in the Bulldogs’ win over rival Lakeland High School.
