To the editor:

With the cost of living going up and up, it’s hard to afford the medication people need to stay alive.

Some people can’t pay for the high cost of their medicine. Where I live, I know someone who lost her husband recently but isn’t old enough to draw social security. She can barely afford her rent. The high cost of prescription drugs really hurts her.

Congress needs to take care of people who are struggling with these high costs. It’s time to lower drug costs for everyone!
