A man is dead after a crash between an SUV and a motorcycle that happened Friday morning.

The crash at the intersection of Carolina and Dill roads was reported at 5:42 a.m., according to a city press release.

The victim was identified as Andrew S. Piskorski, 27, of Suffolk. He died at the scene.

The driver of the SUV remained on scene following the accident.

The road has reopened. The investigation is continuing.
