Suffolk Police are investigating a robbery that happened Monday at Ulta Beauty in the 1000 block of University Boulevard.

The robbery was reported at 4:52 p.m., according to a city press release. Police determined a man filled a bag with about $578 worth of men’s cologne, implied he had a firearm when confronted by a clerk and exited the store without paying. There were no injuries.

The man was described as a black male between 5 feet, 9 inches and 6 feet, 2 inches, heavyset, with medium length dreads. The police department released surveillance photos of the man.
