Curtis Lonell “Frog” Vick, 63, of Suffolk, transitioned Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at Hampton Virginia Medical Center. He was the son of Catherine Pugh Vick and the late Lloyd Thomas Vick Sr. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd Thomas Vick Jr. and Warren Jerome Vick.

“Frog” was a class of 1975 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, where he was in the marching band and played football. He retired from Smithfield Packing Plant and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Catherine Pugh Vick; two sisters, Cynthia Serita Vick Richardson (the Rev. James E. Richardson) and Angelia Vick Goodman; three brothers, Richard Lee Collins, Gregory Thomas Collins and Vivian Scott Collins; two aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be held at noon, Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2635 E. Washington St., Suffolk. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
