Multiple individuals have been charged following an extensive investigation in Suffolk and Southampton County, according to a city press release.

Multiple search warrants were executed Tuesday at several locations in the Holland area of Suffolk and in Southampton County, the press release stated. The action followed an investigation by the Suffolk Police Department and DEA Task Force and was undertaken by the Special Investigations Section, Suffolk S.W.A.T. and the Southampton County Sheriff’s Department.

The investigation resulted in multiple individuals being charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, conspiracy and simple possession of a controlled substance, the release stated. Cocaine, heroin, marijuana, packaging materials, ammunition, multiple firearms and a large sum of cash were recovered.

“Due to the ongoing nature of this extensive investigation, a complete listing of persons arrested and associated charges will be provided once the investigation is complete as more charges are pending against this criminal enterprise,” the release stated.
