Michael Antwan Spruill, 40, of Radford Street, Portsmouth, transitioned Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, in Hampton. He resided in Newport News and was the son of Vanette Norfleet and Henry Lee Johnson Jr.

He was a manager at IHOP in Hampton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Vanette Norfleet (stepfather Gregory Norfleet); father, Henry Lee Johnson Sr.; daughter, Olivia Spruill, of Newport News; two sisters, Ebony Jones and Altovise Johnson; brother, David Charles Jones Jr.; five nieces, four nephews, five aunts and six uncles.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
