Lady Cavs blow past Lady Warriors

The Lady Cavs got their fifth win of the season with a 61-27 victory over the Lady Warriors.
The Lakeland High School girls’ basketball team went on the road to match up with rival Nansemond River High School Thursday night. Lakeland earned its third win of the week after dominating the Lady Warriors.
Nyeisha Savage led the way with 14 points, while Jaelyn Brown added 10 points. Kemonye Canady had nine points as well.
Lakeland is now 5-0 on the season. The Lady Cavs will play in the Boo Williams Christmas tournament this week, while Nansemond River will compete in the Warwick High School Holiday tournament.
