Lady Bulldogs fall to Hanover

The King’s Fork High School girls’ basketball team went 1-1 at the Boo Williams Holiday Tournament.
The Lady Bulldogs took on Salem High School and Hanover High School. King’s Fork defeated Salem 43-33 but took a close loss to Hanover 54-49.
Despite the loss to Hanover, the Lady Bulldogs had three players in double figures. Quadaia Coles went for 16 points, while Niyah Gatson added 11 points and Ashawnti Williams added 10 points.
King’s Fork will load back up for the second half of the season with a 5-4 record. They will start off the new year with a highly anticipated matchup with Lakeland High School. Lakeland has been a roll so far this season, and both teams will look to battle it out for the city title this year.
