Angela “Pookie” Michelle Artis, 56, of 424 Beamons Mill Trail, Suffolk, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 125 County St., Suffolk. The Rev. Dr. Robert Hobbs will officiate. Pastor Robert Wilkins will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in the C.W. Ash Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
