Albert Joseph Bonner, 68, passed away Jan. 25, 2020, in his home with family by his side. Born in Norfolk, he was a son of the late Elzie Austin Bonner and Gertrude Mary Saunders Bonner. He was a retired utilities inspector for the city of Norfolk.

Left to cherish his memory is his life partner of 33 years, Barbara Stallings, and his brother, Robert Austin Bonner.

A funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020, in Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
