Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Keimari Artis, senior, Lakeland High School basketball: Artis scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Cavs’ win over rival Warriors.
• Niyah Gaston, freshman, King’s Fork High School basketball: Gaston scored 31 points in a win over Oscar Smith.
• Andrew Betts, senior, Nansemond River High School swim: Betts placed first in two individual events and two relays in the Warriors’ final regular season win.
