Three Suffolk schools will be competing in the VHSL state tournament starting Friday night.

Lakeland High School’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, along with the King’s Fork High School boys’ basketball team, will all be in action Friday in their respective state quarterfinals matchups. Because each team won a region championship, they will be a host to their opponents.

For fans wanting to support the home teams, both Lakeland teams will compete at King’s Fork High School Friday night at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., while King’s Fork will be playing at Norfolk State University at 6 p.m. Friday.

All Virginia High School League state games will be $10 for admission.

6 p.m. King’s Fork High School boys vs. Monacan High School, at Norfolk State

6 p.m. Lakeland High School girls vs. Brentsville District High School, at King’s Fork

8 p.m. Lakeland High School boys vs. Armstrong High School, at King’s Fork
