Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• George Beale, sophomore, King’s Fork High School basketball — Beale scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in King’s Fork’s state semifinals win over GW-Danville.
• Jordan Crosland, freshman, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy baseball — Crosland went 3-3 with three RBIs and two doubles in a win over Southampton Academy.
