Western Tidewater Health District reports 49 cases

Statewide cases of COVID-19 have risen to 2,637, according to the Virginia Department of Health.
The Western Tidewater Health District now has 49 cases of COVID-19 in Sunday morning’s update from VDH.
The district count is up by only two from Saturday’s number. However, Saturday’s reported case number was a 68-percent jump from Friday’s.
Suffolk now has 22 cases, with 18 in Isle of Wight County, five in Southampton County and four in Franklin.
