Police investigate shooting

Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened early Sunday.
The shooting was reported at 3:11 a.m. An adult male was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 100 block of Nancy Drive at Nansemond Square Apartments, according to a city press release.
The victim was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital with what are considered non-life-threatening injuries.
Several apartments and a vehicle were also damaged by gunfire during the incident.
