Police investigate shooting

Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Wednesday.
The shooting was reported at 9:15 p.m. from the 300 block of Briggs Street, according to a city press release. Police found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound that was not deemed life-threatening. He was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
