Police seek fraud suspect identity

The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male subject wanted for alleged connections in some recent thefts from motor vehicles and credit card frauds in Suffolk.
The victim reported that the windows were broken out of her vehicle while in a parking lot in the 4800 block of Townpoint Road on July 10, in the area of the Suffolk Seaboard Coastline Trail in North Suffolk. The victim’s purse, containing credit cards, was stolen out of the vehicle.
Within two hours, the victim’s credit cards were used at two locations, one in Suffolk and one in Portsmouth, totaling more than $1,500.

Tipsters never have to give their names or appear in court and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
