Valarie M. Mizell, 63, of the 500 block of Ocklawaha Avenue, gained her wings Aug. 17, 2020, at Sentara Obici Hospital.

A visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, and the family will receive visitors at 177 Kristen Lane, Suffolk, VA 23434, at all other times. A funeral will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, at the funeral home chapel, and she will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
