Ivery Goodman, 87 gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020. Mrs. Goodman was born on March 14, 1933, to the late Dual and Carrie Douglas. She was proceeded in death by her husband, George L. Goodman; daughter, Marion Giles; son, Michael Riddick; four brothers, and two sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Doris Johnson and husband Jeffrey and Valerie Felton and husband Eric; three sons Marvin Riddick and wife Cynthia, Amos Riddick and wife Rosemary, and Calvin Riddick and wife Joyce all of Suffolk; three step-daughters, Mildred Laury, Ann Joe, and Barbara Bond; two sisters, Deloris Freeman and husband Walter and Gladys Walton; 17 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren; two God-daughters, Sharon Wiggins and Tashie Hunter.

A visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place from 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road.
