Suffolk Police are investigating a commercial armed robbery that happened Sunday night.

The robbery  at the Corner Mart in the 800 block of West Constance Road was reported at 9:40 p.m.

Upon preliminary investigation, it was determined that the subject entered the store, displayed a gun, and an undetermined amount of cash was taken before he fled the location.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The incident remains under investigation.

The subject was further described as a black male approximately 5 feet, 7 inches and 240 pounds.
