The Cover 3 Foundation has received a $25,000 grant from the Obici Healthcare Foundation, intended to compensate local high school students who have stepped in to assist with the C3 Kid’s Meals program during the pandemic.

The project is funded under the Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund.

C3’s Kid’s Meals program provides nutritious and healthy meals and snacks to children in after-school programs and during the summer months at feeding sites.

“Defeating childhood hunger is the major purpose of the Cover 3 Foundation and providing healthy meals, snacks and breakfast items to those children who are in need across South Hampton Roads and Central Virginia regions is our daily goal,” said C3 founder Greg Scott.
