Police investigating carjacking

Suffolk Police are investigating a reported carjacking that happened early Sunday, according to a city press release.
Emergency Communications was contacted at 12:26 a.m. by an adult male reporting that he was carjacked in the 3200 block of Prices Fork Boulevard while in the parking lot of an apartment complex, the press release stated.
Preliminary investigation found that the victim was carjacked by two unknown offenders wearing all black and carrying pistols that were in a nearby vehicle in the parking lot, the release stated. The victim’s vehicle, a 2014 Nissan Altima, white in color, with personalized Virginia plates PREVARD, was stolen, in addition to his phone and wallet. Both vehicles then fled the scene.
The victim was not injured, and the investigation remains ongoing, the release stated.
