Suffolk Police are seeking assistance identifying suspects in recent thefts and reminding residents to “Lock It, Don’t Lose It.”

Like many jurisdictions, Suffolk has seen numerous recent reports involving tampering with vehicles, larcenies from motor vehicles and motor vehicle theft, according to a city press release. Multiple incidents were reported along Nansemond Parkway and the surrounding neighborhoods, including one in the 400 block of Beamons Mill Trail early on Dec. 13 where suspects were caught on home surveillance cameras.

Suffolk Police are reminding residents to “Lock It, Don’t Lose It” by keeping their vehicles locked at all times to prevent opportunities for crimes such as these to occur.
