Margaret “Winnie” Rochelle Garratt died peacefully at her home in Soquel, Ca. on Dec. 18, 2020. She was born in Pennsylvania on Feb. 14, 1927, and lived in Suffolk with her husband and children from 1947 until 1971. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Garratt, III; her parents Ford Winfield Rochelle Jr. and Marion Baker Rochelle; and her sister, Marion E. “Pat” Rochelle. Winnie is survived by five children, Margaret, Charles IV, Ford, Paul, and Mark; their respective spouses, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The youngest son, Mark, was still living with her when she passed. Arrangements are pending. She will be buried in California next to her deceased husband.
