Links help others for holidays

Members of the Suffolk (VA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated have been helping others in a big way this holiday season.
On the Monday before Thanksgiving, members delivered 10 baskets to the Genieve Shelter with turkeys and all the fixings, enough to last several days past the holidays.
A bouquet of flowers was presented to Genieve Shelter Director Marleisa Montgomery in honor of Caregivers Month.
“We really appreciate what the Links have continued to do for the Genieve Shelter throughout the years,” Montgomery stated. “The Suffolk Links have supported us during the pandemic and beyond. The bags for Thanksgiving were special to me because you all covered everything and I didn’t have to run around to pick up missing items.”
Less than a month later, the Links were back at it again. On Dec. 18, members delivered gifts for two families based on their wish lists.
