Snow possible Friday
The National Weather Service says snow is possible on Friday, but there won’t be much accumulation in Suffolk.
Snow could begin after 4 a.m. and continue until about 9 a.m., with rain likely the rest of the day. After 9 p.m. and until 4 a.m. Saturday morning, some more snow and rain are likely, with new snow accumulation of less than half an inch.
The National Weather service said the best change of an inch or more of accumulation, however, was south of Route 460 and west of Interstate 95, so the chances were low for Hampton Roads.
